When you're offered a meeting with a break from the normal programme and the prospect of a fun weekend regradless of how well your racing goes, you can't really object about the very small surcharge that is applied.

It takes a great deal of organising in the background and the club will likely make a loss unless they get some sponsorship for the weekend.

It's not generally appreciated by people just how much effort club committees put in, especially on special meetings. Support it. Enjoy it.
