Hi, we went through Sparco, MIR & Alpinestars suits as spares/wet/test suits. We thought MIR was best overall, ie value & quality & although not as trendy, he preferred it & I thought it was better made. I think the Alpinestars was a slimmer fit if that's an issue but with the proportions of my son that wasn't an issue. As a side note, we initially had a 'Shift' suit which was USA made & it was without doubt the best one of the lot, but not trendy. If you know your MX gear it's the same company. None of this takes into account weight of suit, again not an issue for us. Gloves and boots we thought Alpinestars, low boots, were the best, again for us/him. Wet gloves were the Sparco ones. It's such a personal thing that really it's see if you can try a mates gear on as they feel different after a few months anyway, we thought Alpinestars suit lost its shape very easily. Hope it helps.
