My point is that the transponder is NOT able to transmit data. Data transmission requires a separate system that can be connected to the transponder to obtain the transponder number, but the transponder itself cannot transmit any data (apart from the usual timing signal), so from this perspective, it's possible to allow the transponder itself, but not the data transmission system.

Now the X2 PRO transponder IS able to transmit data, but that's totally different, and not being discussed for use in general karting.
