Was looking at S1 race entry costs and wondered why it costs so much more than club racing??

At Whilton mill club you get approx 44 racing laps for Ł45

= Ł1.02 per race lap

Super 1 at Whilton mill you get approx 60 racing laps for Ł180

= Ł3.00 per racing lap

Maybe you expect to pay abit more because of parc ferme and TV coverage etc, but 3 x the cost seems excessive?
