Do not understand what the underweight issue has to do with the driver of the day?
The two are completely unrelated.
If the manner of the driver all day through the heats and final had been in an exemplary manner, with good racing and clean overtakes, holding a mis-calculation on weight over him seems very bitter.
So,yes,based on your info, fully justified
