O ring chains appear to be very still when they're cold but once you 've done a couple of laps they warm up and the stiffness goes.

Chains get hot in use and a worn chain gets even hotter.

You have to keep them lubricated with the correct lube so that the O rings don't run dry and wear or break up.

Check the alignment is correct so that it doesn't put undue strain on the O rings due to sideways movement?
