backwards !!!.
After last weekends F100 Bonanza at Hooton Pk they and classic/historic karting is on the increase . With over 40 pre 2000 karts attending last weeekend from F100 , it overshadowed the other more modern classes compeeting in the rest of the meeting with spectators 3 rows deep on the banking and the far bend.
Many karters attending where in awe of these karts never having seen or heard them,along with the attention to detail in restoring/re- furbishing the karts ,the distances some drivers had travelled to attend and the actual 3 wide RACING,bump starts,the noise and the smell.
Congratulations to F100,Hooton Pk and all the drivers and mechanics,the only downside was the cold,windy and wet weather but that did not prevent all attending from having a brilliant weekend.
