The PG licence holder does not need to be at the track,but they must sign a Parental Consent Form (downloadable from the MSA website) nominating somebody else to accompany there son/daughter.
The nominated person must present this form with the PG licence when signing on.
Most tracks keep them on hand as well,I got one last Sunday at Whilton mill.
