We are talking about a chassis comparison, not an engine one.

I retired when there was still some respect for elders..... so that was a LONG time ago.

However, James and I tried the accursed Rotax and rejected it instantly! I have also (personally) driven the damned things: they have been around for a very long time and thus I do overlap them. I am thus not a complete Rotax Virgin.....

The test I suggested was cheap, simple and rapid and quite definitive. You have the kit, you are a decent bloke, you are a damned fine engineer (but you know s*d all about computers......!) so you would be the ideal person to test the chassis as I suggested. If you like, I'll come and join you during the tests so we can fairly report the findings AND share the work.

What do you say? ..... baldy!

We'll see how much 'placebo' effect there is!
