It was defiantly a “fast” carb , I would get it inspected by the most knowledgeable TKM scrutineer you come across as Paul admitted to me his two colleagues at S1 confessed they would not have spotted it, it was only obvious using a magnified inspection glass . I am sure it was not intentionally done for any benefit other than cleaning to enhance to appearance but never the less it rendered it scrap. I actually gave the carb to Paul so he could use it to demonstrate to others.
