The trouble with parents acting on track is that they have a vested interest. I have seen first hand the issue this causes - even when there has been no report by the parent concerned other parents complain that the person marshalling has a vested interest so cannot be impartial!

And Goman. You (along with so many others) have missed a vital point. Tram lines ( or circuit limited) are rules that are policed with a simple yes no. Did the driver cross the line? Yes? Then an offence has been committed.

With driving standards it is much harder as there will always be various considerations to take in to account.

You need to remember a Clerk can only take action if there is proof beyond doubt that an offence has been committed. It is easy to do this with athe tramlines or limits but not so much with driving standards.
