So video evidence IS allowed then!

I'm not sure where the concerns arise from. A video camera can't be inherently biased and it provides a permanent, reviewable, undisputable record from its position.

Nobody is suggesting that F1 style resources be applied - but they could be employed at notorious "black spots", ie first corners.

I'm unsure whether the concerns said to have been expressed by Clerks are from experience or simple resistance to change.

MSA Stewards appear to be more than comfortable with reviewing video in an appeal, whether from bystanders or otherwise, if it helps clarify what has happened.
