Thanks for the reply - I realise that they should add up to the same give or take a couple but I wondered if anyone knew exactly how some clubs do this. I was briefly tempted to try to script something but, when you factor in trying to give each driver at least one heat on the 'good' side and mixing up the people you start next to, it became a bit too much for my 'O' level maths and my occassional coding skills!
