Liam many thanks for your reply mate,

Appreciate your advice offered in regards to chassis choice ......my only way of thinking with the OTK range was that maybe there are second hand spares easily available purely due to the numbers of people running them? will look into the others Jade and Intrepid over the next few days.

Glad that budget sounds semi realistic ...haven't got loads of money to throw at it wastefully to be honest, know it will cost me a bit more than club 100 but like the thought of setting up and maintaining my own kart.

what are the main essentials (other than the kart) which you would recommend buying first up?I have most basic hand tools sockets etc
