2016, that's the worrying line.

Why does it always thave to take so long for certain things to change for the better, yet they can instantly, as they've demonstrated on numerous occasions in the past, change things for the worse?

Still, at least moves are afoot but I don't think it's going to stem the advance of IKR.

In fact all they seem to be doing is trying to embrace the advance of IKR because they know they can't stem it.

We'll end up with two sides doing the same things.

Still, if it means an easier and cheaper entry into karting for people, then it's all good.

Certainly giving the clerks the power to make the final decision would stop bully boy cheque book wavers from disrupting results and peeing off those people who never had the money for an appeal in the first , even if they could have won.

The hint of stripping away some of the regulations is a good move too, otherwise karting is all regulation and no racing.

Why though, if a club was allowed to run libre classes as an introduction to racing, couldn't it be run out across all the clubs without the need to integrate fully into MSA racing?

They allow bambino karting and they don't race. (Yeah right,)

So there can be different segments under the same MSA banner.

They seem to want to embrace IKR and distance themselves from it in the same instance.

Incidentally, certain people on Karting1 think you, the great unwashed on UK Karting, are incapable of discussing this in a civilised manner and think the information Banzai posted, should not have appeared.

Will THEY be disappointed?

Just for clarification, this is RancidM's reply to Banzai when he knew about the post. ( I do believe he's actually shouting about people shouting, which is amusing in itself.
