I heard from a friend of mine in X30 junior he felt a carb may have been tampered with as the jet position was way out to where it could have been. He can't say for 100% but feels something may have happened. It is easier with the external screw jet rather than internal jets. I have heard of a Rotax choke being left on when it was down and not raised to start, unfortunately the junior driver wasn't aware and came in during the race due to poor running.
I agree to be caught messing with someone's kart would mean expulsion forever, But it must have happened at some point in the past.
