"This comes from having watched some of the 'elite' cadet drivers in the country turn up at Rissy last weekend and play 'bash the clubbie' - always starting at the back of the dummy grid in practice sessions and subsequently smashing their way through to the front. Several of these drivers got called up in front of the COC and got a dressing down only to go out and keep on doing it again. This included trying to drive some of the 'locals' off the track after the chequered flag had been shown at the end of a practice session. They also seemed to enjoy taking out their own team members."

I agree that a change to the judicial procedure at club level would be a good thing but you have to ask where are the parents of these children? Are they allowing or even encouraging this behaviour? Are these kids really going out of their way to hit others or are is it more a case of using it as a tactic to get past? I find it very sad that parents are allowing their children to behave in this way.
