I had a great time at GYG in X30 snr this weekend for the LGM series. It was really well run, fun event. Was great to see a grid of 16 snrs and 15 jnr x30's. especially given GYG's location. and the weather forecast!!
Once again some great racing and some great competition.
I really think LGM has got it right in the format. I hope the X30's get an official series next year, as LGM has nailed what the target market want with the class. (someone said call it the BGM for the x30's lol)
Club meeting costs, with good competition. The whole 1 set of designated (don't have to be new) wets only for sunday and no friday practise is brilliant for cost control! We got Loads of track time etc as well. Also the nominated garage for fuel is a really great idea!
James Mills came round and spoke to everyone, gave a few tips out made sure everything was ok etc. not since FKS has that happened.
I can honestly say the result didn't mater i could have come last or won and i would still have got the same level of enjoyment out of the weekend.
I came away feeling i got Value for money/time.
LGM will be my chosen series for next year hands down in X30. They have it spot on.
Was also nice to see some KGP drivers coming across for the weekend too be interesting to see what they thought in comparison actually.
