There is a thread on the 2-stroke forum as well ...but Aquila - were you actually there? I guess not.
If you were there you would have seen some outstanding driving, incredibly brave driving and overtaking that took your breath away.
You are talking about some of the best drivers, juniors or adults, in Europe.
On the 2-stroke thread people are having a go at the S1 drivers, big teams etc.
It's an easy dig to make. But when you put 28 motivated adults or juniors, who are all within a few tenths of each other on a track like Buckmore you might have problems.
Add in two successive right hand corners from the start so the outside gets screwed every time then again you are adding to potential issues.
At S1 they do allow faster starts, with earlier acceleration and the field spreads out. It might be safer, not sure.
By the way ... I think the kids in the ambulance yesterday were hurt enough thanks. Nice comment that ...
