Just doing a rebuild on my son's kart and checking various bits and pieces.

The chains that I have been using are showing some signs of stretching a bit now and I am going to replace them fairly soon.

What are the pros and cons of the different types or make of chain for use with an Iame engine on a Zip chassis ?

Do the O ring chains represent better value in the long term compared to the standard chains ? Is there any downside or upside to using o ring chains with a cadet engine ?

What make of chain do people prefer and why ? - I have seen some 'Gorilla' o ring chains on fleabay for a good price - does anyone have any experience using them at all ?

I have been using a floating sprocket carrier for the latter part of this year and it certainly seems to help limit the amount of wear that you get on the sprockets and chains.

Any help would be appreciated !
