I don't remember claiming I was as good as Terry. Secondly, if you read my earlier messages, you'll note I said that 'nil movement' was the OPTIMUM not what **I** can do. Similarly, Vettel can set an optimum time for a lap but others can't replicate it.
My points were:-
1) the word 'release' is so loose in it's meaning to be completely USELESS as there are multiple effects, times and places where people claim it occurs.
2) 'Release' seems to mean the same things as 'getting rid of understeer...... but not many people seem to understand this
3) The 'optimum' kart cornering on any medium to long corner is:- a) turn in b) let the rear disconnect c) hold that so that the kart is at a (rough) tangent to the corner by choosing the cornering speed that lets you do that with zero steering angle d) Only the greats get that (almost) perfectly, the rest of us should TRY to attain it. e) the stickiness of the tyres don't alter the optimum aims.
My evidence is purely films, videos and stills of the 'greats' who DO exactly what I suggest. I agree that is NOT PROOF, merely evidence.
That's it and it's all I am claiming on the subject. This is ALL just my opinion and I could easily be wrong. I don't think it's a crime to put these suggestions forward..... in fact I would suggest that this SHOULD help you. You are entitled to believe anything you want. I am entitled to laugh at silly beliefs; as are you.
