Having spent a day testing carbs with few controls in place I can say that 2 of our carbs seem to run equally well (within half a tenth consistently) and the other one we didn't get to test properly because the track dried but it ran perfectly well on the same settings as the other 2. 75 mins on low and 57 minutes on high seems to work very well whilst changing nothing else on the kart all day. 3% oil ratio and I went back to only using fuel purchased on the day of use. I'm disappointed in myself that I failed on such a fundamental control as using new fuel but I won't be making that mistake again any time soon. I might even order a second engine now I'm happy with the carbs. Interestingly seeing how I didn't say anything to my lad about his driving all day and let him get on with it he also made some tidy progress today. Happy days and I no longer feel the need to keep our comer kit.
