The only honest answer is: the one that makes you faster on that day!
I know that's no help immediately but, when you hear the other answers, ask them WHY wheel X does Y job. What you'll find is that you'll ask 4 people and get 5 different answers!
Karting is not (yet) an F1 style science (and even THEY don't know why their cars are quicker on one day than another or they'd all beat Red Bull....). Karting is still a 'black art'. Each kart MAY find that wheel X works best at Y track on Z day but, for two karts/teams/drivers/days, they won't agree on the same set on the same day.
Personally, I think the differences between wheels are minute. If you are to the point where you have done EVERYTHING else EXCEPT try different wheel types, that's the point when you SHOULD try different wheels. In my opinion, there's loads of places you should look for improved lap times before you get to wheel types.
This is JUST my opinion and others will disagree. Just get them to tell you WHY that wheel works better and HOW they know this. You'll enjoy the different reasons given by two separate people! For example: someone will tell you that Mag wheels heat faster than Alloy ones...... and the next person will tell you it's because they heat SLOWER or dissipate the heat faster or are less rolling mass, or the racing Pixies prefer them and they shove you along......!
It's a bit like the 'magic sponge' in football.......... Placebo Effect!
