Hi dubzy itpro is right we need more info. But first things first the seat position is critical contact zip and they will be able to tell u what position and distance the seat should be from the rear axle or take it to dartford karting and they will fit it in the correct position for Ł20. Once that's done then adjust the pedals to suit your son ie pedal extenders. Don't push the seat forward as this will alter the balance. Ride height in the dry u need it so that the chassis is as low as possible. In the wet as high as possible. As a bambino your son would benefit from more grip to build confidence. So run the front with 20mm spacers and then on the rear come in 10 mm from the circlips. As he gets more seat time and builds confidence then very gradually u can move the front in 5mm and then back out 5mm but only change one at a time say the front first then see how he finds and adapts to the change if good then change the rear. If u make a change and he doesn't like it or u can see that the kart is not balanced then change it back. In the wet move then front all the way out as far as u can bring then rears in as far as u can also raise the ride height and use a rain mister to raise his centre of gravity. Have fun
