Not having a go at you Iain in any way. The drivers don't know there not being watched at the time. They make a decision to remove a competitor knowing at the moment they may get a warning flag. I played rugby and the ref would say to the captains. Sort your team out or your going off. It worked.
As soon as one or two get sent home or even blacked flagged a lot of contact would stop.
