Danlee we are the same, my lad did well in cadet without a great tyre cost. I think we only ever bought one new set in 2 -3 years, other than that we bought 'one race meeting old' slicks and were on the pace. Frag is right, defo not 2 - 3 tenths if you put new on every race day. Different tracks will be different but you won't find one that gives you 2 - 3 tenths after one race day on new cadet slicks.
We also in Junior, see my other thread ref. taking bar codes and setting either a club rule or national rule (using a database where info. is taken from when race entries are processed and then checked at Sun scrutineering from a printed off entry list - kart numbers against barcodes) to force use of Mojo's for more than one meeting - at least two for Junior and maybe 3 for Mini, not sure about senior - maybe two?
