I see in your profile your driving an ICC kart! I'd recommend you put the ICC engine on the shelve this year and get yourself a TKM engine, with a clutch and onboard starter if needed. Then get as much track time as you can at your local circuits. You will progress quite quickly, learn loads and have more fun.

Anyone can pass the ARKS test with a bit of study and track time, if 8 year old kids can do it, I'm sure you can.

When you have done a years racing/practice, then dust off your ICC if you want.
