I don't think I misunderstood I think I just replied poorly :-)

Totally agree with you, the MSA are their own worst enemy! Strubby have done a fantastic job at showing if you have a kart and its a bit different but as quick as X class you can and should be able to race it! DD2 died because at club level they couldn't find where to place it, Aixro is as quick as gearbox but because it doesn't have one they won't let it run with them and the Rotax guys wouldn't possibly agree to having their ar$es handed to them.

Rather than catering to the business and this single class race mentality, why not say at club level bring it along, run it in practice and we'll a lot you into an appropriate grid! Big mixed class grids are far better than single digit single class grids!

I had a Yamaha kt100 engine in my shed, as quick as a senior Tkm but nowhere would let me run it. What's the harm?!
