Do run him yourself, the bond it creates father/son is special. Do go testing and do 200 laps a day until he is worn out, no replacement for seat time especially early on in the learning curve. Most of his lap time improvements will come from his ability rising. Don't do S1 until you can win club races, it would be totally demoralising. Buy the best engine you can get, no substitute for bhp. Smile! There will be one good day for every ten bad. Don't forget its a sport. Run with a team when you know what its all about and can judge what you get for your money.
