i have spoke with Bob and the reason for the double points was to entise people to stay with Hooton park which im sure they would as Bob has built this whole event up from scratch, and was a defence for if three sisters decided to run the event on the same day! (which he got told was the case)..this is total rubbish for the championship at Hooton park and Bob should not be forced into this decision.

As mentioned the date clash would be detrimental from a business point of view for both organisations, as its making the racers choose which track to race at, and will result in low grids for both! Hooton park and three sisters will both benefit from running on seperate dates as most people from the IKR series at Hooton will want to do the Three Sisters and vice versa pretty obvious really... Why cant Three Sisters and Hooton Park have a cicvil conversation, discuss it between them and do what is right for us who are taking part in it and making it happen by running on seperate weekends.

For me running saturday and sunday at seperate tracks would be a bad idea, a lot of people like to practice on the Sat of the Hooton weekend to get the kart setup, also people work on Saturdays, and travel / over night stay would become very expensive. Three sisters obviously have a lot to plan with having various events at their track and not just a karting event, this needs to be sorted which im sure they are doing as we speak. Please keep us all updated we want to race at both tracks!

Also please make the rules for IKR fair, set tyres set weights and set classes, and it will be a big sucess. Just because its IKR doesnt mean people want 'play racing' we want racing without ridiculous rules and fair racing :) or id of thought the majority of us want that unless people want to win by basically cheating? .....Rant over lol!

Russ shame about ur ribs mate, u were running in seniors wernt u? how did it happen?
