Must admit I've always been hesitant about split sprockets, I have a biland and it came with a bunch of split sprocket but the amount they need to be bent to clear a 50mm axle always puts me off, just can't be good.
I'd practice your changes and use full sprockets, not timed it but I bet I can do it in around 15-20min or depending on you carrier fit the two most likely sprockets, the you only have to slide it one way or another and readjust the chain
