Not all non-MSA race series fall into the category you suggest. Yes there are the "run what you brung" events which I certainly would not entertain, however, there are many respectable race series that run to exactly the same regulations with MSA CoCs and Scrutineers as officials and medical cover and such series have continued to flourish whilst the local MSA clubs have folded.

Yes we don't have access to the judicial system but we don't have the issue of having to pay for a licence and medical every year nor contribute to the running of Motorsport House and all its cronies that will never have an interest in karting.

Would it not be worth considering what regulations (if any) 3 Sisters were going to run the non-MSA series before dismissing it completely. Yes if it is another "run what you brung" event give it a miss (I would) but the track already has a successful, well supported non-MSA prokart endurance monthly that has run for years. Granted it hasn't had the MSA officials but is self policed by the drivers and still has a great paddock atmosphere.

Having been involved in both codes I certainly wouldn't rush to be too critical of either until you know what is actually being offered.
