I'd just use the TKM slicks. Every other TKM driver on the grid is going to be using them, it's kind of an unwritten gentlemans agreement. There may be other tyres that are grippier than the TKM slicks but the TKM slicks are proven to be durable tyres which helps keep the cost down, so with everyone using them it benefits everyone.

With the wets though there has been some experimenting with other tyres going on, think the new Rotax wets are the ones to go for but I'll be using the TKM wets (the old type 2012) for the foreseeable future.
