I find it interesting how someone who's very high up in various commitees, who is also the importer of the chosen control tyre for many classes, can struggle to get enough of the right tyre in!!

It was a common issue when I was in ICC, around May / June the stocks of slicks would disappear, followed by an amendment allowing people to use another tyre for a while, which would invariably be a softer compound meaning you'd have to buy it to remain competitive.
