Ah ok, the previous owner said it always used to do it a bit, but he used to tap it like you said (but it had got worse recently) I may just get a new carrier and disc (for peace of mind) and try that - as I don't want to bend anything anymore :) It's a 2011 chassis but hasn't had a lot of use. Can you advise me please as how to take the axle out enough to get a new carrier and disc on please?
