A bit confused on this point now, my understanding was that when weighing a cadet that additional PPE kit like rib protectors etc was not to be included on weighing.
However having now read the below on the ABKC news letter it seems that you should be weighing with your additional PPE as in cadets there is no minimum driver weight but there is a class weight in Hondas and Comers. From reading the below it distinctly looks like if you wear them, neck brace and rib protector then you should keep them on when being weighed.
Can anyone clarify this? Thanks
http://www.abkc.org.uk/News12_4.pdf "When weighing drivers in classes where a minimum driver weight is given, then only the mandatory personal protective equipment can be worn. So additional PPE such as rib protectors must be removed, but can be weighed with the kart for the overall class weight."
