If you get carbon build up like on Cadet exhausts - Caustic Soda - couple of quid from B&Q or another is Brick Acid from somewhere like dewsons

Problem being having a container that you can put the exhaust in.

Dissolve the granules in the water and then add the exhaust into the water. Agitate the exhaust daily for a week - rinse extremely well
