'It's about time the MSA put some manners on those 'Comer Dads' now just get them to pick-up all that rubber! '
It's only the loose rubber that you lot left on the track in the first place !!! (another joy of cadet karting that I discovered at the weekend) - my garage floor now looks like a Whacky Warehouse 'ball pit' !!
More seriously though, I did recently witness a kart escape from the blocks that it had been propped up on with the engine running. It shot off at high speed, narrowly missing several karts and drivers on the nearby hard standing. It would be much safer to only allow engines to be run if the karts were on stands in any pit area.
Are the new MSA regs purely for 'health and safety' or to limit noise levels? It is a shame that common sense and general consideration for your fellow karter has to be regulated for rather than voluntarily implemented.
