Sorry Rene.... you are entirely right and I am entirely wrong on this....

I just saw it as a chance to have a minor 'jibe' about our old conversations.

Had I known it would cause such GLEE amongst the stupid and ill-educated, I would not have done it! Well....... perhaps I would.... but I would have handled it better! I didn't know this had a 'mercury switch'....

Please accept my apologies for jumping in when I was WRONG.

I know you well enough to know my stupidity about the X30 caused you ZERO problems or sleepless nights. I had forgotten the mindelssness of others, here, though! I also know you well enough to know that you will accept an honestly meant apology, especially on such a TRIVIAL matter! God knows how it would have gone had I said something controversial......

If it's caused you ANY problems, Rene, I apologise unreservedly and I'll buy you a beer or a coffee the next time I see you if it caused ANY problems!
