With regard to changing, it will depend on age. My youngest is currently running an 08 Zip in Comer, this used to belong to his elder brother who only ran it for 4 months before moving to Minimax. So although old, it hasn't been run much and in comparison to lads on brand new karts is doing OK.

Regarding which make. My suggestion would be to stick to what you know. Others will have their own opinion.
