couple of points, I run the Tech-F1 engine in F6 and have regularly used the YGB tyres to good effect.
Important of note is that the YGB is no longer in production so your tyres are likely quite old and hard by now especially if they are quite worn so hopping shows a REALLY narrow back end. Also have a look at how many extra seat stays are fitted (2 left 1 right). Even a wide rear track with no seat stays can cause hopping with the low end of the 4 strokes.
The current bridgestone is the YLB, which is almost identical to the YGB in performance terms. Although it will vary from chassis to chassis and driver to driver, I will never run higher than 8psi unless it is damp on brand new slicks
Ouside of the rear tyres/rims of between 135 and 140cm (max allowed width) is a good starting point.

Also, if your kart came with a lap timer, around buckmore somewhere around the 39.0 to 39.5s lap time is where we will be running in F6 so even when you find a good handling setup dont be afraid of trying things with your chassis to find speed and learn the kart. New tyres are worth around 1 second poss more.
