My cylinders were the size X & M, one up from portapak. Like you, I had been going through a period where my usage was low, having had the cylinders for about 3 years. What really angered me was that at no time had BOC contacted me (I'd had an account with them for 32 years) to tell me there was a supply problem, so I was unable to prioritise my usage, they had requested and been paid the annual rental just 2 weeks before I ran out, and when the situation became clear and I asked them how I would know when I could get another refill you could have heard a pin drop! They're a bunch of incompetants! I must admit, I did wonder whether they were trying to get rid of their small cylinder users for some reason!
