I disagree completely with Brasic. Changing engine gearing on a Max is FAR FAR harder than changing the rear sprocket.

84 should still be ok on the rear. I run 82 at Teesside and it's fine. Just check that the 84 isn't below your chassis rail, but it shouldn't be.
