Ian,
I should have been clear. Both seats were of soft construction. The new one being Iztechs new material. When you hold it, it bends very smoothly....I see it as an overall improvement.

With respect to the stays. The fix worked! My job will now be to understand why they worked.

Reason I say that is because my lad had an issue around lap 6. So logically I only needed the stays from lap 6....So I must have had a comprimise up to lap 6 with the dynamics of the kart......

As a second to that I do believe once the driver smooths up it will alleviate the issue to an acceptable point (stops overheating the tyres)....Just got to get the fourteen year old to listen.....Thats a challenge in itself!
