Then you'd get drivers complaining of sand in their engines ruining them.....tracks are damned if they do and damned if they don't, if drivers just stuck to the track and drove within the rules there wouldn't be a problem!

I think the only way is to have big high kerbs so that they penalise drivers if they hit them....
