Third Party Liability.
Spectator injury.
Other Driver Injury.
Marshalls & medical crews injury.
Environmental clean up - Fire & Spillage.
The list of potential claims is endless.

The Cover for race day is provided by MSA and is paid for from significant proportion of the entry fees.

We have no alternative but to cover the club and its members because with the increase in ambulance chasers in the legal profesion we get claims. I cannot go into detail about claims (we have had them and you would not believe some of them) but any uninsured claim on the club which we lost would wipe out any funds of the club and therefore wipe it out of existance.

From speakig with other non commercial clubs they have to take out the insurance as well.
