Thanks for starting this thread as it's helped me get a free new casing.
They replied within 48 hours too, great customer service.
Hi Matt, Sorry to hear about the broken housing. Typically in environments like this broken tabs would be due to overtightening the thumbscrew when mounted to a high vibration surface like the frame of the kart. With the newer camera I could recommend mounting it upside down if possible, but your early model doesn't have an upside down mode, this would allow you to use less clamping pressure as you're not fighting the force of gravity to keep it upright. Another recommendation is simply mounting it to your helmet, in which case your body would act as a vibration dampener. Padding the frame of the card before mounting will help a little bit. - Due to the mounting conditions this break isn't specifically covered by warranty, but I do want to keep you stoked on the product and getting more footage so I'll send a replacement out for you this time. Please reply with a picture of the broken part, your camera's serial number located in the battery compartment, the model camera you purchased, and your mailing address. Once we hear back, we’ll get a replacement shipped right out.
Many Thanks,
