Hi,
The cost of a rebuild is dependent on what needs doing, or replacing at the time of service. Tal-ko quote an average cost of service of about 800 quid. Again that figure could be higher. 80 hours is the lowest figure used, 100 hours is about right. I have been told of engines going all the way out to 150 plus before losing performance. As for hours done on a second user engine, if you get the engine number you can check with Tal-ko that last time it was serviced, and what was done to the engine. As for proving what hours have been done, you will have to rely on what the seller tells you. We have done about 17 hours this year at Ellough, and the festival. We expect that number to go to 25 hours in 2012 as we are hoping to do the F6 in 2012.
