Having cars at the BGP is revenue driven as it is so expensive to promote the event and karts alone would not make it vaible without entry fees being considerably higher than they are now. It will cost over Ł40k to put the event on so its not cheap. Cadwell has not been banished forever but Snetterton enables us to run a really big event including the awesome 250 twins at European level. It is a long time since we had a major championship as part of the BGP.
Sadly gone are the days when we had 350 entries for the BGP like we did in 1985.
