Chris, maybe something you could try is reducing the angle of the steering wheel. I found I used to suffer with sore wrists without a heavily angled boss (used a boss and thick spacer plate too) and this weakened my wrist, however I don't have weak wrists usually due to tennis. Once I got the steering wheel almost verticle my hands sat on the wheel a lot better, more like a tennis racket grip and no more issues with the wrists going weak. Give it a try as its a simple change to make and really will make the difference. Try squeezing someones hand with the wrist bent like a steering wheel position without an angled boss and its tough, now straighten the wrist and compare the grip.
Let me know how it goes.
Also the mychron steering wheels are much thinner than any manufacturers wheels that I know of.
